At Creative Gardening we are busy helping our customers with spring clean-up and new designs for their landscapes. This includes edging and cleaning flower beds and lawns – removing leaves, gravel, and any other debris. We also aerate lawns as needed.
One of the best bangs for your buck is to put an aerator over your lawn. It’s simple but requires the proper equipment. Aerating takes the pressure off the lawn by taking plugs the size of your finger out of the lawn. This allows air and water to get to the grass roots – allowing them to breath and releasing tension. Water can get directly to the roots instead of having to soak down. We fertilize when aerating, and the fertilizer is sitting at the roots ready for the next rainfall.
Another tool we use is a lawn comber, that beats the lawn and removes dead material – that white and yellow grass that you might see. Our equipment thoroughly and efficiently cleans lawns.
